GEOPROBE® MODEL
6620DT

Wide tracks and a heavy-duty undercarriage provide the foundation
for the Model 6620DT's robust design. The strong undercarriage allows
this direct push machine to be used on concrete or pavement, and
enables the machine to readily negotiate in tight, confining work
areas and on off-road, rugged terrain. The machine has 12”
tracks. The overall width of the machine is 60” which means
the undercarriage can provide a stable base for probing and drilling
operations. The strength of the undercarriage also means you can
equip your machine for augering, use the winch to help with tool
placement and tripping, or operate the DH66 Auto Drop Hammer for
geotechnical applications. It's uniquely flexible to switch from
environmental to geotechnical work with little time and effort.
The overall top ground speed of the Model 6620DT ranges from a
crawl, for close maneuvering, to 4.5 mph for field movement.
A 2-speed pull cylinder on the Model 6620DT at low speed (full
pulling power) will pull rods full stroke (66”) in 11 seconds.
On high speed, the machine can cycle from bottom to top in less
than 5 seconds.
Other features on the machine include a wireless remote control,
onboard tool storage, and an easily accessible engine compartment
for quick daily systems checks so you can focus your field time
on field work and not maintenance.
